All this month I’m going to be sharing with you crafts and activities that I’ve made with some custom Gallifreyan writing which I got from Applique Geek. Applique Geek has something for every fandom so be sure to check them out and let them know Suzy Homeschooler sent you.
Last week we shared an idea to create Gallifreyan writing ornaments for your tree, the week before that we shared some free printable Gallifreyan Writing Activity Mats, this week we’ll be sharing another free printable of Gallifreyan writing which promotes fine motor skills and can also be used to decorate your home and tree for Christmas.
For this project you’ll need our free printable (download below), a printer with black ink, some cardstock or other thick printing paper, scissors, and a stapler.
Just like with our Lord of the Rings One Ring Paper Chain, one page makes five chain links. Five chain links is about one foot long so you want to print about one page per every foot of paper chain garland that you want. Want a 20 foot garland? Print 20 pages. Easy math.
Simply download our Free Printable Gallifreyan Writing Paper Chain (click here), print out as many pages as you need, cut along the lines, then staple one end of each strip to the other end making sure to weave each new link through the last link of the chain. The same classic Christmas craft we all did as children, with a fun geeky twist.
The Gallifreyan writing on these chains when translated read “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings, Feliz Navidad.”
Now onto this week’s On Beyond Zombie Linky Party.
Last week we had unusually low entries (chalk it up to the busy Christmas season) so we are grateful to The Educator’s Spin On It for sharing their Build a Trebucket with Kiwi Crate post and also to Brain Power Boy for sharing their post on Learning Coding in Homeschool.
Remember, if you link up with us this week then you might get featured next week! And even if you don’t get featured, the posts you share with be pinned and re-shared throughout our social media platforms.
