At a recent trip to Dollar Tree, we spied a set of Spiderman stampers in their seasonal Valentines aisle. I wasn’t quite sure what we’d use them for but I knew they’d come in useful and be fun to play with so I picked up a set for LittleMan.
That evening, there was a Odd Squad episode on TV about patterns. Viola! I knew what to do with the Spiderman stampers: a simple and fun patterning exercise.
LittleMan mastered basic patterns last year with the help of a stash of gummy bears, but we were able to work more complex patterns with these Spiderman Stampers.
By using receipt paper roll, we were able to make our patterns go on for much longer than if we’d just used plain construction paper. We also love receipt paper rolls for making timelines in our history lessons and number lines in our math lessons fancy scrolls for our creative writing lessons.
Now on to this week’s On Beyond Zombie Linky Party!
It seems like we had a bit of a LEGO theme going with the posts that were linked up last week! There was the LEGO Race To Build Game, the LEGO MiniFig Zip Line, and even a seasonal LEGO Heart Marble Maze, oddly enough all shared by the wonderful Little Bins for Little Hands. So if you like LEGOs as much as I do, I suggest you check their site out.
Remember, if you link up with us this week then you might get featured next week! And even if you don’t get featured, the posts you share with be pinned and re-shared throughout our social media platforms.
