Painting Popcorn with Edible Paint (aka milk and food coloring)

I came across an idea on Pinterest, which lead me back to Mess for Less: painting popcorn. Crazy, right? So crazy it just might work…

Its ridiculously easy and you probably already have everything you need to do it. Just mix approximately a tablespoon of milk in with 1-2 drops of food coloring. Thats it. Too Easy. Serve with bowl of popcorn and some paint brushes.

LittleMan loved this activity so much that he insisted every single piece of popcorn have color on it. He forgot to paint one piece before he put it in his mouth, so he stuck the paint brush into his mouth!

We’ve also served our colored milk with some tortillas which we cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters.
