Sensory Body Painting: Chocolate Pudding

Here’s a fun activity for keeping kids cool on a hot summer day: body painting with chocolate pudding. I saw this idea years ago on tv when I was still just a kid myself and I always thought it would be fun to try.
All I did was follow the directions on a box of pudding mix as usual, then when the pudding was set I gave it to the kids with some paint brushes. Pretty easy set up.

Unfortunately LittleMan did not share our enthusiasm for this new experience, so all the pictures you’re going to see today are of SunnyGirl and Tink.

Both the girls thought this was a hoot and couldn’t get enough of it. They wanted to paint themselves, each other- Tink even asked me to paint a giant smiley face on her back.

When it came time to go inside, SunnyGirl had to be pried apart from the pudding bowl and brushes, she was just having the time of her life and didn’t want it to end.
