Its been a while since we’ve posted about our sensory bin play, but with the Wild Kratts theme popping up all this month I thought it was a good excuse to make a Wild Kratts sensory bin.
The printable was pretty fun. I printed it on cardstock, cut it out, laminated it, and then cut it out again so it was very durable.
I then filled the sensory bin with streamers and buried the various laminated create-a-scene pieces in the bin for the children to dig out.
It was simple, yet effective. LittleMan and SunnyGirl both had a lot of fun with this sensory bin.
I think next time I might experiment with a different base, perhaps playdough. Add in some Safari LTD TOOB figurines. That is the beauty of sensory bins: they can be as basic or as complex as you like, and children will love them either way.by
