Super Hero Crafts

Our local homeschool group has a monthly gathering during the autumn/winter/spring months which we refer to as “gym day.” The primary purpose of these gym days are social, though we try to provide the children with many gross motor activities and a few crafts. Here are some of the crafts that we planned for our most recent super hero themed gym day.

Activity #1: Create Your Own Action Figure

Activity #2: Super Beading

This fun idea requires only pony beads, pipe cleaners, and a bit of imagination. You can see the full tutorial for super beading on Activity Mom.

Activity #3: Write a Book About Your Super Self

For this activity, simply download the free printable All About Super Me book and supply the children with crayons or colored pencils.

Activity #4: Design your own Mask

A bit of cardstock, a stapler, markers, and the mask templates found in our free printable Super Hero crafts pack (available for download at the bottom of this post) are all you need for this super simple and super fun cosplay activity.
