SunnyGirl is a pretty big fan of oil pastels
for coloring. We put a fun twist on this simple activity by having leaves handy. She outlined the leaves on the paper and even colored directly on the leaves.

This summer I am all about doing “old school” crafts and activities with my children, the types of things I grew up doing and loving. So when I set out to make pet rocks with LittleMan I had envisioned something about the size of his fist, just like I had as child. Imagine my surprise when LittleMan insisted on a pair of tiny pebbles…
