The Ultimate Star Wars Linky Party

May 4th is coming up soon and I know many of us Star Wars fanatics are hunting down the perfect cosplays, crafts, snack foods, and lesson plans to “wow” our kids with.

To make it easier to find exactly what you are looking for, I and my co-hosts bring you The Ultimate Star Wars Linky Party. All things Star Wars separated by category for ease of searching.

But first a quick tutorial on how to make some super awesome Star Wars footprint (and paw print) art.

The Ultimate Star Wars Linky Party (1)

I love doing hand and foot print art, it can be an incredible sensory experience and the end result is always super cute.

If you’re doing a full family foot-portrait like we’ve done, then you’ll want to pick a good background color. I find greens and blues are best. If you use white paper, then Artoo won’t show up. If you use black paper, then C3PO might not show up so well.

For C3PO (as modeled by LittleMan), you’ll need gold paint, a sponge brush, and a black Sharpie marker.
Paint the full bottom of the foot with gold paint and press it to the paper  with the toes pointing down. Let the paint dry and then use the black Sharpie to draw in the details.

For R2D2 (as modeled by SunnyGirl), you’ll need grey and white paint, a sponge brush, and a blue Sharpie marker.
Paint the heel of the foot grey, paint the rest of the sole white, do not put paint on the toes. Press it to the paper with the toes pointing down, let it dry, and then draw in the details with a blue Sharpie marker.

For Wicket (as modeled by Newton), you’ll need brown paint, a black Sharpie marker, a red Sharpie marker, and a sponge brush.
Paint the entire underside of the paw brown and press it to the paper with the toes pointing down. Let the paint dry and fill in the details with red and black Sharpie markers.
